In honor of the breed, the “Doberman Club” of the United States on the island of Guam erected a monument with the names of 25 Marine Dobermans who gave their lives for the liberation of the island in 1944.
There is no exact information about the origin of the Dobermans since the creator of the breed F.L. Dobermann did not keep records.
