During World War II, Dobermans served in the United States Marine Corps.
For services to the army, they were awarded the title “Semper Fidelis” (“Always faithful”).
They were also called “dogs of the devil”. The speed of reaction, invulnerability, fearlessness made these dogs unsurpassed when performing special missions in the war.
