Afghan Hound has an elongated head and muzzle, almond-shaped eyes, a lean body, and high hips. It has a long topknot on top of the head and a curved end of the tail. Afghan Hound has large feet, adaptation for life in rough, mountainous terrains.
Afghan Hound was used for hunting deer, wild goats, gazelles, wild boars, hares, wolves, snow leopards, and falcons in the past.
