Sheltie is a loving fluffy with a conflict-free character, a bewitching smile, and endless self-esteem, which you just want to embrace. From a real shepherd in today’s Shelties, only a passion for walks and a ringing, barking bark remained, which, however, did not spoil them at all. Moreover, in just a few decades, these clever Shetlandic girls have managed to radically change their “qualifications”, having passed the difficult path from humble rural shepherds to real townspeople.
With a soft, appealing expression and looking like a small Collie, the Shetland Sheepdog is the 21st most popular breed in the United States.
Known for being bright, playful, and energetic, the Sheltie is a small herding dog that was developed in the Shetland Islands of Scotland.
Although the Sheltie looks like a miniature Collie and they may share some ancestors, they are not really a Toy version of the bigger dogs.
