The Bedlington Terrier is an English breed of dog that resembles a hybrid of a lamb and a poodle. Historically, Bedlingtons were bred for hunting medium-sized game and rodents, and today they are more often found as family pets.
The Bedlington Terrier dog breed originated as a killer of vermin and hunter’s sidekick.
Today Bedlingtons excel as companions and in the show ring.
Although they still have excellent hunting instincts, a keen sense of smell, and the will to go to the ground, they are rarely used in the field.
