The development of the Entlebucher Sennenhund genus proceeded rather slowly, therefore, specimens that were standard in terms of appearance and temperament began to appear only in the second half of the 20th century.
One of such exemplary dogs was the dog Much – the international champion, who in the 60s collected all the prizes at the Swiss, German and international breed shows.
Entlebucher is a compact, smooth-haired, handsome guy who seemed to be slightly stretched in length.
The color played an important role in creating a memorable image of the breed: rich reddish-white spots in combination with an elegant black “tailcoat” give the animal a gentlemanly gloss and light aristocracy.
