For a purebred breeder pair, the enthusiastic breeder traveled all over Switzerland, eventually settling on a bitch named Babeli, who gave rise to the modern entle branch.
In 1926 the first breed club was opened.
A year later, its representatives underwent standardization, having received the official right to breed and participate in exhibitions.
