A charming shepherd collie, better known among dog lovers in her long-haired form. Moderately sporty, playful, and inquisitive, this cute creature does not require strict control and, due to its good-natured nature, gets along with everyone who does not try to put pressure on him with tough authority. Fluffy enchantresses are demanding only for one thing – regular and long walking, so either buy comfortable sneakers and put up with excursions in any weather or look after yourself a more passive pet.
The Celts seem to have so much prized the herding dogs that they called them “helpful” (collies).
In the mid-19th century, Queen Victoria’s love for the Collie contributed to the breed’s popularity. 
The breed gained additional celebrity with the novel Lassie Coming Home (1940) by Eric Knight and subsequent films and television shows depicting the heroic dog in action.
