Originally used in medieval Europe to trail boar and deer, modern-day Bloodhounds have found careers as many trailers for police departments and search and rescue organizations.
So skillful are they that their “testimony” is considered admissible in a court of law.
This is a very active breed. Bloodhounds are not suited for apartment living. They do best in a home with a large fenced yard.
