You must have heard that cats and dogs probably won”t coexist in the same house, but is this true?

Yes! Cats fight to protect their space, not minding of the size of the intruder. Cats can cause damage to dogs by scratching with their sharp claws while dogs are known for their protective nature and may send a message to other animals to stay clear.

If you already have a dog and want to introduce a cat into your home, the best thing I did was to teach my dog husky obedience because my dog can be aggressive at times. I got a small kitten named Farina hoping they will live peacefully.

Farina was quite young, and have not developed a fear of dogs. Watching my kitten at its tender stage and getting used to many things, although curious, interestingly was very much on guard.

With this being said, the two animals was learning to trust each other and didn’t see themselves as competitors.

Most people think it’s impossible for dogs and cats to play or even curled up beside each other, instead they spend much time chasing or being chased by the other.

For me It was very fascinating to witness as Farina and Maeby the husky developed a relationship and slowly even became friends, sitting at home one day I watched how Farina the cat makes biscuits and gives Maeby the husky a quick massage before turning the dog into the ultimate bed.
